Antonio has also been a speaker since 2018 and a member of the Future Investment Initiative Institute in Riyadh, sponsored by the Public Investment Fund on Fintech and AI, Professor of ‘Data – driven models for investment’, a course on Artificial Intelligence at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome and friend of Aspen Institute.

Giorgio holds a PhD in Computational Biology, a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Florida in host-microbe interactions and is currently earning an MBA.

Giorgio is a visionary leader and a distinguished scientist in the realm of bioinformatics, a discipline that seamlessly bridges the gap between advanced computational biology and transformative biotech innovations. Giorgio is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall direction, driving innovation, setting a technology roadmap, and ensuring that the company remain at the forefront of advances in the Biotech & AI industry.

Giorgio brings 15+ years of experience in life sciences data analysis coupled with a proven track record of business leadership within the corporate environment. His work – documented by over 50 peer-reviewed papers, academic books and multiple patents – reflects a commitment to biotech innovation. His background includes pivotal roles at Exagen, Metabiomics, Evolve BioSystems and research at NASA, University of Florida and Northern Arizona University.

Giorgio holds an MSc in Medical Biotechnologies and a PhD in Computational Biology.  He has completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Florida, and is currently enriching his scientific expertise with strategic business leadership skills through an Executive MBA program.

Portfolio Manager with more than ten years’ experience in the wealth management market; after the graduation in finance at Bocconi University, he began working in one of the most prominent family offices in Italy, being also Co-Founder & Strategist at StonePrime.

Claudio has been CFA since 2018, and his work focuses on developing tools, models, strategies and reports for portfolio construction and rebalancing.

He also provides guidelines for the financial products, manages positions and risk and evaluates developments and improvements in the underlying product.

Aidanek is an ESG analyst, assessing and analyzing the performance of companies based on their environmental, social, and governance practices. Her primary goal of an ESG is to evaluate how well Stoneprime US integrates sustainability and ethical considerations into its business operations, evaluating its impact on the environment, including its carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste management, and resource usage.

She also examines the company’s relationships with stakeholders, such as employees, customers, suppliers, and communities, further analyzes social responsibility initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, labor practices, human rights policies, and community engagement efforts.

Aidanek holds a Master’s degree in Global economic governance with a 2 years experience between IFAD and FAO.

Emanuele Ricco

Emanuele is Co-Founder and Quantitative Researcher in Stoneprime US, with expertise in developing complex mathematical models based on AI and Quantum Mechanics to predict financial markets.

He has both a technical and business background. Regarding his technical skills, he is very proficient in developing complex mathematical algorithms based on Artificial Intelligence, holding a Master’s Degree in Physics of Complex Systems at Polytechnic di Torino.

Regarding business knowledge, he has experience in the drawing up of business plans and the development of new business ideas and he has already been Co-Founder of two start-ups in the electric micro mobility and e-learning sector.

In Stoneprime US, he is involved in the continuous improvement of the technological part, in particular regarding the development of complex algorithms based on Generative AI and Large Language Models to enhance the creation of trading signals for Stoneprime US customers.

Valentina holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science at University of Perugia.

She is the Office Manager of Stoneprime US, managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including coordinating schedules, overseeing office supplies, and ensuring a well-organized and productive work environment.

She also provides support to staff members by addressing queries, managing communication channels, and facilitating a collaborative and positive office culture.

Her main role is to manage budgetary aspects, including expense tracking, invoice processing, and collaborating with finance teams to ensure adherence to financial guidelines, also addressing operational issues and resolving challenges that may arise in the day-to-day functioning of the office, contributing to a seamless workflow.

Elio is an entrepreneur with 10+ years of experience in the field of Power Energy trading and Fintech.

Elio began his entrepreneurial experience in 2013, being Founder, CEO and Chief Trading Officer at Energy MC, a business consulting firm in the field of energy management and trading of electricity and gas, using tools from Artificial Intelligence to forecast market prices.

He was the Co – Founder and Head of Scientific Research at Euklid, an alternative investment fund with the goal of predicting the price of financial securities with complex mathematical models and AI and CEO of Quaternion Technology.

As a CTO he is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the company’s technology strategy and ensuring that it aligns with the company’s business goals.

He is also responsible for identifying and implementing new technologies that can give the company a competitive advantage such as Generative AI and Large Language Models, supervising the company’s system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.:

Carlo is a Data Scientist & Software Engineer with many years of experience in web development and cloud computing.

He is responsible for designing, implementing and testing the software that runs the AI algorithms, working closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to ensure that the software is optimized for performance and accuracy.

He is also involved in developing and maintaining the AI infrastructure, including the hardware and software systems that support AI algorithms.

He holds a degree cum laude in Computer Science.

Simon is a Senior Quantitative Researcher in R&D, being accountable for leveraging quantitative techniques based on Artificial Intelligence to develop, test and implement trading strategies that aim to generate positive returns while effectively managing risks in financial markets.

Simon holds a PhD in mathematical physics, after graduating summa cum laude in mathematics at the University of Turin with a dissertation on Cauchy Problems in General Relativity.

He has a vast experience in quantitative finance, especially in portfolio optimization, pricing derivatives and quantitative trading.

He helps the scientific team for making rational trading decisions thanks to his ample experience in the Finance and Energy world, helping to develop computer programs that apply the model to historical market data.

Simone has his degree in Environmental Engineering at the Sapienza University in Rome. He started his career working mostly with construction firms and focusing on aspects ranging from security on building sites to economic evaluations of infrastructure investments, mostly for renewable energy plants.

Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Quintessential Capital Management, a long/short global equity fund based in NYC aiming to provide investors with exceptional returns leveraging on the principles of value and activist investing.

The Fund invests through a concentrated portfolio of high-quality businesses acquired at a discount to intrinsic value and shorts based on insights from in-depth, investigative due diligence.

He specializes in value investing and deep, investigative-style due diligence. His specialty lies in detecting, investigating, shorting and exposing public fraudulent or criminal corporations.

Gabriele holds a BA from Tufts University and an MBA at SDA Bocconi. He has recently started a another degree in physics and mathematics.

James Hodson

James Hodson is the CEO and Board Member of the AI for Good Foundation, a non-profit organization that uses artificial intelligence to solve global problems.

Hodson used to be a manager of AI research at Bloomberg LP, where they oversaw a team of 20+ researchers and software engineers focused on building sophisticated platforms for knowledge representation, reasoning, inference, structured prediction and cross-lingual understanding. Hodson has also worked as a research assistant at Princeton University. James holds a degree in Computer Science from Princeton University.

James Hodson has a degree in machine translation and a field in machine translation, philosophy of science, and computer science from Princeton University.

He is a researcher, leader and entrepreneur in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Economics, with particular focus on Sustainable Development, Global Information Flows, Natural Language Processing and modelling interactions in highly complex dynamic systems.

Simona Tiribelli is Director for AI Ethics of the Institute for Technology & Global Health at the MIT-funded spinoff PathCheck Foundation (Boston, US), assistant professor at the University of Macerata (Italy), where she teaches Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and Global Justice and Technology, 2023 visiting scholar in AI ethics at the New York University (NYU), and 2020 Fulbright awarded and fellow at the MIT Media Lab, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US.

She is a founder of the Spinoff GAIA (AI Ethics and Governance) and AI Ethics advisor for companies in Europe and US.

She authored two books and a number of articles in leading scientific international journals on ethics of artificial intelligence and digital technology, and delivered on invite more than 50 talks in prestigious academic institutions such as Harvard University, Tufts University, Toronto University, and many more, in Europe, Canada, and USA.

Professor Roberto Di Pietro is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the KAUST CEMSE Division. He is affiliated with the KAUST Resilient Computing and Cybersecurity Centre (RC3).

Before joining KAUST, he spent six years as Full Professor in Cybersecurity at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University College of Science and Engineering (HBKU-CSE), Doha, Qatar.

He has also served as Global Head of Cybersecurity Research for Bell Labs (Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia) for almost four years. In that capacity, he coordinated three security research departments—based in Paris, Munich, and Espoo, Finland—tasked with ensuring that research was in alignment with the strategic business goals and moving research results into innovation.

Dr. Di Pietro has been general co-chair and program co-chair for several conferences (e.g., the International Conference on Applied Cryptography and Network Security (ACNS); the ACM Conference on Security and Privacy in Wireless and Mobile Networks (ACM WiSec); the ACM Symposium on Access Control Models and Technologies (ACM SACMAT); the European Symposium on Research in Computer Security (ESORICS); and the IEEE International Conference on Blockchain (IEEE Blockchain).

His main research interests include security and privacy for distributed systems (e.g., cloud computing, distributed ledger technologies and cryptocurrencies), artificial intelligence for cybersecurity, online social networks, quantum computing, virtualization security, applied cryptography and data science.

Roberto Maiolino is Professor of Experimental Astrophysics at the Department of Physics (Cavendish Laboratory) and at the Kavli Institute for Cosmology, University of Cambridge, Honorary Professor at University College London and Royal Society Research Professor.

He received his MS in Physics at the University of Florence in 1992 and the PhD in Astronomy at the University of Florence in 1996, with a secondment at the Steward Observatory at the University of Arizona as a visiting scholar.

In 2018 he was knighted by the Italian President in the Order of the Star of Italy. In 2019 he was appointed Honorary Professor at University College London.

His main area of research is the investigation of the formation and evolution of galaxies and supermassive black holes by using various observing facilities.

Prof. Italiano is Professor of Computer Science at LUISS Guido Carli University.

He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University in 1991. He worked at IBM’s T. J. Watson Research Laboratories, Yorktown Heights, NY, USA from 1991 to 1996. In 1994, at the age of 33, he won the national competition for full professor, and returned to Italy as a full professor first at the University of Salerno and then at “Ca’ Foscari” University of Venice.

He is a member of the Editorial Board of several international scientific journals.  He has been invited to give papers for many international conferences and he has been invited to the scientific program committees (Program Committee) of numerous international conferences and symposia.

He is the author or co-author of more than 250 scientific publications in prestigious international computer science journals and conferences.  He has served as a computer science consultant for large international companies in Italy and the United States (AT&T, IBM, Lucent Bell Labs, and Microsoft).

Adriana Chiarelli, a biotechnologist with a Ph.D. in Microbiology, brings over 5 years of expertise in managing wet-lab operations, conducting genome sequence analysis, and leading applied research projects in antimicrobial resistance and microbial preservation.

In her role as Scientific Project Manager at the Biological Resources Centre of the Pasteur Institute (CRBIP) from 2021 to 2023, Adriana orchestrated transversal activities, focusing on maximizing the value of microbial resources preserved at CRBIP and exploring the potential biotechnological applications of microbes. Her active engagement in EU collaborative initiatives and consortia.

Maddalena Pacelli, holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and a master’s degree in genetics and molecular biology.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in life sciences and a Master’s in entrepreneurship and innovation, she has gained international research experiences in top-level centres in Italy (Sapienza University of Rome, Italian Institute of Technology), Germany (Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology – Max Delbruck Centre) and Israel (Weizmann Institute of Science), reflecting her commitment to global scientific endeavours.

Passionate about personalized medicine, Maddalena oversees the creation and management of the biotech branch of Eupaxx S.p.A. Her expertise encompasses genomics, immunotherapy, drug design and delivery, showcasing a holistic approach to integrating technology, such as AI, for impactful advancements in the pursuit of innovative and cutting-edge solutions.

Geoffrey Stevens

Geoffrey Stephens is an experienced Ph.D. scientific executive with 20+ years working in all aspects of large and small biotechnology companies. Skilled in large and small molecules, drug development, molecular biology, biotechnology, cell culture, and bioinformatics. Demonstrated record in driving complicated projects to IND in autoimmune and oncology spaces. Strong scientific background with early training at the NIH/NIAID.

Extensive experience supervising groups of laboratory professionals in immunology-based experimentation, process development, and sophisticated data-mining for uncovering unique patterns in data. Previous experience includes regulatory T cells, CAR-T, TCR-T, large and small molecule therapeutics for cancer, autoimmunity, and inflammatory diseases.
Dr. Stephens led teams discovering biologics across all stages of development while he was at AstraZeneca (AZ)/MedImmune.

During his tenure there, he identified several targets that were ultimately developed to various stages in the AZ pipeline for the treatment of autoimmune/inflammatory diseases. Dr. Stephens also played an integral role in the development and eventual FDA approval of Benralizamab (Fasenra), an anti-IL-5Ra specific antibody for the treatment of asthma. More recently, he was the Head of Process Development at Tessa Therapeutics developing CD30-CAR-T cell therapies for the treatment of Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which received RMAT and PRIME designations from the FDA and EMA, respectively.

Prior to that, Dr. Stephens was the Director of Product Science at Immatics, LLC, where he led the development of TCR-T cell-based therapies for the treatment of a variety of cancers. Geoffrey also co-founded and was the Chief Scientific Officer of Cellcion, LLC, a company devoted to the development of software platforms for the analysis of complex immunological systems.
